Do we really need a subtitle on every book?

Most of the books that were written in this century and that I have read have subtitles.

It got me thinking...what if classic books had subtitles?

How much fun would it be to write subtitles for the books we have known and loved for years?

We're about to find out.

Comment with your suggestions for subtitles. I'll post the best ones, giving you full credit of course.

Here are a few to get us started:
  • The Grapes of Wrath: The Joad's Summer Vacation to California in the Family Truckster
  • Lolita: The Original Movie Version Will Be Much Tamer than the Book, But They Will Both Be Fairly Disturbing
  • The World According to Garp: A Study in Mythology, Feminism, and Transexuality
Let's have fun with this!
